Rock Solid Knowledge has always been Made in Bristol. So, the news that Umbraco has opened a new office in our city has our full stamp of approval.
As a Contributing Gold Partner, this is an exciting milestone. Bristol, UK is our home, and Umbraco’s decision to invest here reflects the strength of the local digital sector and the vibrancy of the community around the platform.
Our relationship with Umbraco goes back many years. Alongside building solutions for clients, we contribute directly to the platform through community teams like Unicore and Core Collaborators. Having them close by means more boots-on-the-ground collaboration, giving us greater opportunities to share expertise and encourage open-source software development.
For several years we have helped to organise and host umBristol meetups. These gatherings bring together developers, designers and agencies to share knowledge, showcase ideas and celebrate everything Umbraco.
We have also spoken at Umbraco Spark, the city’s developer-focused conference. The new office adds momentum to this scene, helping umBristol meetups grow and opening the door to more opportunities for the community to connect.
Bristol is firmly on the map as a centre for Umbraco development in the UK. For us, this means closer collaboration and even more energy in the community we care about.
We are especially looking forward to next week’s umBristol event, hosted at our North Bristol offices, where our own Karl Tynan will share insights from his CODECABIN experience. Sign up here!
