Rock Solid Knowledge are proud to have been recognised again as an Umbraco Contributing Partner 2025. Each year, Umbraco acknowledges Platinum and Gold Partners who make sustained, practical contributions to the platform and its community.
For us, this recognition reflects steady involvement across Umbraco CMS core code, documentation, events, and knowledge sharing. Contribution is built into how we operate, with approved working hours allocated to community activity.
Emma Garland, Umbraco MVP and member of the Core Collaborators team, dedicates a few hours each week during working time to review pull requests and provide contributor feedback within Umbraco CMS.
Across the team, we regularly raise and help diagnose issues in Umbraco CMS, Umbraco Forms, and widely used community packages. This includes testing, creating reproducible cases, and working with maintainers to support efficient resolution.
Members of the RSK team contribute articles and technical insight to the wider community, such as in October 2025, Emma authored “Are you still Thinking?” and Shelly wrote "Setting up Umbraco with Umbraco Commerce" in January 2026.
Karl Tynan co-organises umBristol and CODECABIN, with dedicated working time to plan and deliver these events.
We have hosted umBristol meetups in our Bristol office and Rock Solid Knowledge has been a primary sponsor of Umbraco Spark since its inception.
We encourage contribution across the business. Team members are supported with official Umbraco training and given time during working hours to give back. Recent examples include improvements to Umbraco Commerce documentation, forum support, and identifying documentation gaps.
We are proud of this renewed recognition because it reflects consistent, practical involvement in the health of the Umbraco ecosystem. We will continue to contribute in ways that are measured, responsible, and sustainable for both our team and the Umbraco community.
