As a certified B Corp, we are committed to operating for the benefit of all, from our clients, employees, communities, and the environment. Our approach to sustainability is grounded in our core values:
We have tracked and reported our organisational carbon footprint since 2020/21. The figures below show both the total emissions and the impact of targeted reduction efforts:
| Reporting Year | Total Emissions (tCO₂e) |
| 2020/21 | 20.23 |
| 2021/22 | 9.82 |
| 2022/23 | 36.72 |
| 2023/24 | 32.70 |
| 2024/25 | 26.79 |

To ensure our progress is meaningful as the organisation evolves, we also track emissions per full-time equivalent (FTE) and per £1m revenue:
This approach supports our B Corp goal of transparency and comparability, regardless of business growth or structural change.
The report includes carbon reduction targets and recommendations for the next 12 months. These will be reviewed in the following reporting cycle to track progress. We will continue to focus on practical measures for further reducing commuting and travel-related emissions.
To maintain carbon neutrality, we offset our footprint through the Woodland Fund™ Portfolio, supporting verified nature-based reforestation projects in biodiversity hotspots worldwide. For the 2024/25 period, our UK Climate Action focus will be:
This allocation reflects our commitment to biodiversity, ecosystem restoration, and long-term climate resilience. Both project types are selected for their measurable environmental impact and alignment with our B Corp values.
Rewilding involves restoring natural habitats and ecological processes that have been lost or degraded. In the UK, this often means the restoration of hay meadows once a common feature of the countryside, now reduced to a fraction of their historic extent. Restoring these meadows:
Sea grass meadows are among the most effective natural carbon sinks, capable of storing carbon up to 35 times faster than tropical rainforests. Restoration of sea grass habitats:
Rock Solid Knowledge’s progress in reducing its carbon footprint reflects our B Corp values in action: prioritising sustainability, transparency, and ethical responsibility. We remain committed to measurable improvement, open reporting, and supporting climate action as part of our long-term partnership with clients, colleagues, and the wider community.
